We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Electrical Fault Tracing within the department of Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness!

 Description

 The Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness department is incorporated inside the Sales & Marketing Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.

 As Lead Engineer Electrical Fault Tracing, you will lead the work of wiring diagrams development aimed for service and repair technicians. Work is done in cooperation and you will have a coordinating role within the group. Developed social skills is an important part of the role due to the contacts with all levels within the company, customers and suppliers in a multi-cultural environment.

  

   The role as Lead Engineer Electrical Fault Tracing involves:

  • Development of electrical fault tracing procedures based on diagnostic fault codes and/or fault symptoms.
  • Specify fault tracing relevant diagnostic data content in diagnostic test.
  • Supervise and partly define the needed diagnostic data content for the electrical system control modules during system development phases.
  • Develop and commit authoring of Diagnostic Trouble Codes information in NEVS authoring environments.

  We are looking for someone who has:

  • University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in fault tracing is a must.
  • Experience of working in CAD, PLM, CMS systems and equivalent.
  • Experience of diagnostic concepts in modern vehicles.
  • Electric vehicles experience is meritorious.
  • Very good knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Driver’s license B.

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
