We are now looking for Supplier Quality Engineers

 

Description

The Purchasing department is responsible for all commercial businesses regarding direct and indirect material and services. The purchasing & Supplier Quality team is rapidly growing and contains of approx. 25 persons located in Trollhättan. The team is operating in a well-defined global purchasing process based on team work between Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers.

 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be:

  • Creating effective and long-term supplier relationships
  • Sourcing quality and take responsibility for what suppliers are performing to Nevs
  • Coordinating contacts with international partners
  • Participate in advanced selection of suppliers, making qualified audits & evaluations and develop suppliers
  • Drive and follow up suppliers APQP in new projects, starting from supplier nomination until approved PPAP.
  • Ability to work x-functional within purchasing and supply chain
  • Manage, perform and coordinate supplier quality-activities from our office in Trollhättan and at supplier location.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has;

  • Technical, Economic degree or equivalent experience,
  • Extensive experience in advanced supplier quality activities in industry,
  • Relevant experience in the automotive industry,
  • Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following areas: welding, injection moulding, stamping , diecasting, surface treatment , electronics , batteries and software development,
  • Ability to travel frequent inside and outside Europe,
  • Driver license B.

Master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
