We are now looking for a Junior Process Engineer Body Shop! 

  Description

The Process Engineering department is incorporated within the Production Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department is to deliver new and rebuilt Body In White processes and tools to the body shop in Trollhättan for NEVS and OEM customers. The department also serves the NEVS factories in China with expertise within the body in white build process.

As an Process Engineer you will participate from early car project phase until hand over to the running production team. There are possibilities to climb to new positions within the organization as the team will groove.

The role will have extensive contacts both with many other departments within the company as external suppliers.

The role involves:

  • Act as project leader for the follow up activities of new process equipment from external suppliers
  • To lead industrialization activities for new and rebuilt Body In White lines from RFQ to the hand over phase to production
  • Investigation of consequences for the process equipment due to product changes. Give feedback to Product Engineering department.
  • Lead different type of Body In White process investigations including cost calculations, HC calculations etc.
  • Industrial engineering tasks and continuous improvement tasks during start up and running production
  • Follow the research and implementing of new joining technologies, light weight material and other areas essential for a modern Body In White production.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience or interest for industrial processes, preferable car production
  • Experience or interest for project management (time schedules, cost calculaton etc)
  • Experience of Product engineering tools such as Team Center and Siemens NX
  • Experience from layout work
  • Be open for travels in the profession and work with foreign suppliers
  • Good competence within MS Office
  • Good knowledge in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Driver’s license B

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
