We are looking for a Cost and Business Engineer! 

Description

The role is a part of the Controlling team within the Finance department. Business Controller, Product Cost Controller and Cost Engineers forms a strong team to support all future projects, both service and vehicle projects.

As we are restarting the cost engineering operations, it is important that you are agile in your work, self-organizing, and with a good knowledge in cost engineering or automotive relevant product area. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team, that we are building up, successful.

What we are looking for is a Cost Engineer with a new twist, one who will from the business point of view, support for the total value management activity. This requires a proactive thinking, winning attitude and a strongly developed business mindset.  

Global travelling to suppliers / partners is a part of the role. 

We will ensure that you have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!

The role involves:

• Support target breakdown and bottom up cost analysis of supplier sourced part and tooling according to input from different partners in different phases.
• Tooling and material cost calculation of key parts based on supplier quotation and market investigation.
• Build up Cost Engineering procedure and continuous optimization.
• Build up benchmark database and knowhow of the responsible area.

You will also support:

• Cross-functional work from cost point of view，rough estimation in design concept phase.
• Buyers through sourcing process and change management which includes technical discussion with suppliers / partners. 

We are looking for someone who has:

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cost engineering or automotive product engineering relevant experience, especially in electronics or relevant area.
• You master English, both spoken and written.
