We are now looking for a SW/Control System Test Coordinator!

 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a SW/Control System Test Coordinator, you will coordinate, prepare and execute software test activities within different areas and you will work closely with attribute owner, component owners, SW developers and test engineers to define test cases, plan and prioritize what need to be tested for our systems.

We are looking for an experienced engineer within verification and validation of SW and Control Systems that is creative and have good planning and organization skills. The work will include both test activities for SW and Control Systems that are developed by NEVS and purchased from suppliers.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

  • Create, develop and follow up test plans including type of tests, resources and environments
  • Coordinate test activities between different departments and teams in different locations
  • Maintain and develop test strategy for SW & Control System development
  • Follow up, document and present test results and found issues
  • When possible support test activities by:    
    • Develop test methods and test cases, including automatic test cases Execute test cases and write test reports & issue reports
    • Maintain and develop test environments, including environments for continuous integration with main focus on MIL & HIL test environments
  • Support in the development of requirements on vehicle/system and component level   
  • Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree
  • Experience in the role as test leader or test coordinator
  • Experience in embedded software testing
  • Experience of continuous integration/automated software testing
  • Experience from SW and Control systems used within Automotive
  • Experience in tools like Canoe, Jenkins, SystemWeaver, CarMaker, NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, LabView, Jira
  • Experience in open loop and closed loop HIL testing
  • Experience from systems with functional safety requirements, ISO-26262
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Driver license for vehicle

Terms

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
