We are now looking for an Accounting Manager!

Description

The Accounting department is a part of the financial organization and responsible for all related tasks from the transaction all the way to the annual report and tax filings. The department in Trollhättan is responsible for the Group consolidation and reporting for all NEVS Group companies in Sweden.

As Accounting manager you will lead the work in the Accounting department in Trollhättan and be responsible for the global closing process. As NEVS Group is currently increasing its activities in China, it will be a natural and important part of the work to work together with our colleagues in China. The assignment will include being responsible for the preparation of reports for the Swedish companies as well as for the annual report of NEVS Group. As Accounting manager you report to NEVS CFO.

This role also involves:

  • Lead and participate in the day to day activities in the Accounting department in Trollhättan.
  • Management responsibility for the Accounting department staff.
  • Manage and improve the reporting process of the NEVS Group.
  • Safeguard that the Swedish companies are compliant with accounting and tax policies and laws.
  • Maintain contact with the auditors.

 We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant Finance University degree education
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including experience of leading others
  • Experience of preparation of annual reports and audit
  • Solid understanding of accounting including IFRS/IAS
  • Good consolidation skills
  • General understanding of Swedish tax law
  • Excellent skills in English
  • Experience in SAP is a plus

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
