We are now looking for Attribute Specialist – Safety/Future Safety!

 

Description

You will be an integral part of the Chapter UI/UX & Attributes, one of three teams that exist within the Mobility Design Tribe. Our aim is to ensure that all development maintains a strong user-centric focus, by doing so will allow for purposeful and successful products/services to be made available.

Within Attribute, we are focussing at the Product level (which will feed into System and Component levels); creation of robust technical requirements, awareness and comprehension of external factors, suitable benchmarking, and verification/validation results and methods.

The attribute area of Future Safety (within Safety), covers the full scope of safety, not limited to one particular aspect, as the trends of our industry are changing we need to remain ahead of the curve and start preparing as well as leading these changes. In this role, you will be expected to facilitate investigations into user/market needs, concept evaluations, improvements in verification methodology and more. As a Specialist, you will be required to take on autonomy in providing deliveries to existing/planned projects and work activities.

The role involves:

  • Observation, investigation, and analysis into different types of consumers and markets
  • Identifying needs and expectations of consumers, suitable benchmarking sources, and legal influences
  • Facilitate external work packages to compliment and supplement NEVS capabilities
  • Support non-Engineering functions with trend analysis
  • Create Product-level requirements, and supporting with the creation of System and Component-level requirements
  • Creation of suitable Product-level evaluation criteria
  • Assessments of design iterations
  • Education of colleagues on the attribute area
  • Promotion of the NEVS value towards purposeful product/service design
  • Collaboration with all NEVS personnel, at different departments and locations

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • University education (bachelor) in Engineering and/or Science
  • High ability in verbal, written, and graphical communication
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Eligibility for work in Europe and China (i.e. no restrictions of travel)

Terms

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
