We are now looking for an Electrical and Software Architect

An important part in the work towards our vision is to provide vehicles that are autonomous, shared and electrified and acts as part of a mobility system. To achieve this both the amount and the complexity of the software will increase drastically in coming vehicle architectures. NEVS strategy is to develop a lot of this software in-house.

We are looking for experienced electrical and software architect that can define the Architecture vision and roadmap within Electrical and Software for our next generation vehicle systems. Your role will be to design and maintain a robust and adaptable electrical and software architecture that supports the functional and non-functional demands of the vehicles. Your focus will be on the electrical and software system architecture on vehicle level, but you will also be supporting teams defining the architecture and design for the subsystems.

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!   

The role involves:

  • Defining architectural vision and roadmap for the electrical and logical architecture
  • Defining requirements for system functions
  • Supporting design and implementation work on more detailed abstraction layers
  • Continuously ensuring the consistency of the electrical and logical architecture on vehicle level
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related processes

 We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience from developing software architecture for complex systems
  • Experience from development of vehicle electrical architecture
  • Experience from defining system functions within e.g. vehicle modes, diagnostics, is an advantage
  • Experience from model-based systems engineering using SysML
  • Experience from software development in distributed embedded systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English both spoken and written
  • Experience from agile ways-of-working is an advantage
