We are now looking for an Electrical & Electronics Hardware System architect

 

YOUR TEAM

Our mission is to provide electric-powered and fully autonomous vehicles with a connected user interface; a mobility solution for smart and sustainable cities. The self-driving vehicle Sango is the centerpiece of the system.

You will be part of a team within the Electrical & Electronics Hardware Tribe focusing on developing future electrical solutions and architecture for the vehicle. The Tribe is divided in five Chapters, covering the fields of Physical Electrical Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics, Electrical Energy Storage and Electrical & Electronics Mechanical Design.

You will be part of a creative and inspiring Physical Electrical Architecture team focusing on delivering high quality system solutions with regards to available and coming technologies for the complete electrical system and taking on challenges to find new ways to work and improve.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS guidelines for Electrical Architecture and Electronics and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS.
  • You will support in creating roadmaps for Electrical architecture & Electronics development.
  • Lead concept selection at vehicle electrical & electronics architecture-, system-, and component level.
  • You will be responsible for alignment between teams, regarding the development regulations and guidelines, according to the maturity of the technical progress of the architecture.
  • Support project teams in the work of the electrical integration, by giving input regarding the directions and maturity level for the Electrical Architecture and Electronics area.
  • Support the development of redundancy concepts and ASIL de-compositions.
  • Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying your General Requirements in Electrical architectural system and Electronics system. 

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Successfully completed a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics is desirable.
  • Software and hardware knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive area
  • Documented several years Engineering experience from working in the automotive Electrical/Electronics Architecture area
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
  • Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
  • Flexibility in your way of working.
  • Analytic mindset and a good understanding of “the bigger picture”.
  • Curiosity and a positive attitude.
  • Appreciative of cultural diversity in your environment.
  • Experience of a project leading role or Team leader role is desirable.
