We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Wiring Diagram within the department of Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness!

 Description

 The Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness department is incorporated inside the Sales & Marketing Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.

 As Lead Engineer Wiring Diagram, you will lead the work of wiring diagrams development aimed for service and repair technicians. Work is done in cooperation and you will have a coordinating role within the group. Developed social skills is an important part of the role due to the contacts with all levels within the company, customers and suppliers in a multi-cultural environment.

  

  The role as Lead Engineer Wiring Diagram involves:

  • Define and create wiring diagrams to be published in the service and repair workshop information.
  • Identify all changes based on CAD drawings.
  • Create wiring diagrams for workshop information use based on the identified changes. 
  • Create support information to the wiring diagrams, such as connector end view, connector location etc.
  • Publish and author wiring diagrams in NEVS authoring environments.
  • Maintain drawing numbers for wiring diagrams, junctions, splices, fuses etc. for Product Lifecycle Management.

  We are looking for someone who has:

  • University degree in electrical or information technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in illustrations development or wiring diagram drawings.
  • Long experience of working in CAD, PLM, CMS systems and equivalent.
  • Practical experience of wiring harness production. 
  • Electric vehicles experience is meritorious.
  • Experience of workshop information authoring and development, especially within computer graphics creation.
  • Deep knowledge within vector based drawings and associated file formats.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Driver’s license B.

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
