We are now looking for a Vehicle System & Simulation Engineer!

 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a Vehicle System & Simulation Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together perform vehicle simulations, develop models for MIL and HIL test environments, simulation environments to be used in system test rigs and analysis of data from measurements in vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience of vehicle simulations as well as develop plant models for MIL and HIL systems. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

  • Define and investigate what simulations and tools to simulate that should be used in different projects
  • Configure and set up simulation environments for vehicle simulations, MIL/HIL plant models and system test rigs
  • Develop methods for simulations and optimize use of data from real life measurements
  • Perform simulations, analyze results, write reports and report issue and deviations
  • Develop and configure test environments for continuous integration with main focus on MIL & HIL test environment
  • When possible support and participate in test activities in MIL, HIL or system test rigs by:
    • Develop test methods and test cases, including automatic test cases
    • Execute test cases and write test reports & issue reports  
  • Support in the development of requirements on vehicle/system and component level
  • Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree
  • Experience of simulations of different vehicle systems and analysing data
  • Experience in embedded software testing
  • Experience of continuous integration/automated software testing
  • Experience of working in agile teams and development using Scrum or Kanban Experience from develop plant models for HIL systems
  • Experience of configuration of Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL system
  • Experience of SW & Control Systems within Automotive Experience in tools like Canoe, System Weaver, CarMaker, NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, LabView, Matlab/Simulink, Jira, Jenkins
  • Experience from systems with functional safety requirements, ISO-26262
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Driver license for vehicle

Terms

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
