NEVS is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products and services. By challenging conventions, we design premium electric vehicles and mobility experiences that are simple, engaging and distinctive, but that also shape a brighter and a more sustainable future for all.
We are now looking for a Diagnostics engineer defining our diagnostics functionality!
You will be part of the Chapter Physical Electrical Architecture/Base Tech which is one of four competence areas within the E/E Hardware Tribe. Our focus is to define and develop vehicle solutions for integrated vehicle motion control and self-driving capabilities. We are also supporting this development with data analytics and strategies for data management. You will address work tasks from a HW point of view, integration, releases, and having full responsibility for both HW and SW development.
You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.
We are now looking for experienced Diagnostics engineer that can define our future integrated vehicle diagnostics platform, and together with our inhouse/external software and E/E HW development and suppliers bring this to life.
We expect you to act as the Diagnostics expert in a team that will define the diagnostics for current and next generation for our self-driving vehicles. In your role you will define functional requirements, evaluate concepts, and work closely with your team and with suppliers to identify and implement the most optimal diagnostics solution for our vehicles. You will work in close collaboration with engineers who have experience from development of both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. You will contribute with the system- and functional perspective of this development and will be a key player to find the optimal trade-off between the requirements (performance, functional safety, quality and cost).
We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!
Great consideration will be given to your personal aptitude for the position!
