Description
Perform wheel slip control and wheel torque allocation during traction with in-wheel motor driven vehicle.
Traction control system (TCS) is aiming to keep the wheel longitudinal slip within the desirable range during traction. As a control target, wheel longitudinal slip reference is calculated based on vehicle speed and other vehicle state parameters, and the actual longitudinal slip is obtained by wheel rotation speed and vehicle speed. When the actual slip of one wheel is surpassing the reference value, TSC will generate a negative torque on the specific wheel to eliminate the excessive slip. The torque can be achieved by the motor and/or friction braking system in an in-wheel driven vehicle, so that different torque division strategies can be designed and verified in this program.
The controller will be tested on both homogeneous mu and split mu road surfaces in IPG Carmaker environment, as well as on a test track.
Selection work and interviews will be ongoing continuously during the application period, so please send your application as soon as possible!
