We are now looking for a SW Test System Architect!

 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. Our aim within the SW Tribe is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

As a SW Test System Architect you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together develop MIL, SIL, HIL, sub-system and system test environments as well as develop test automation framework to be used for test vehicle functionality at different test level. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience of building up new test environments and test automation framework for verification and validation of SW and Control Systems. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

  • Investigate and define what type of MIL, SIL, HIL, Sub-System test rigs and System test rigs to use for different SW & Control Systems in the vehicle
  • Define and create an architecture for new test systems and test environments
  • Configure and set up new test rigs, MIL, SIL, Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
  • Develop test automation framework different SW & Control Systems in the vehicle
  • Identify, develop and execute test cases as well as analyze results and write test reports
  • Develop work processes and structures for test in different test environments

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Systems Control and Mechatronics or similar
  • Experience of define and create test system architectures
  • Experience of software testing at different test levels and test environments
  • Experience of Matlab/Simulink, C/Python, Canoe, IPG CarMaker, NI TestStand or NI VeriStand
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Driver license for vehicle
