We are now looking for Attribute Area Owners – Physical Characteristics!

 

Description

You will be an integral part of the Chapter UI/UX & Attributes, one of three teams that exist within the Mobility Design Tribe. Our aim is to ensure that all development maintains a strong user-centric focus, doing so will allow for purposeful and more successful products/services to be made available.

Within Attributes, we are focussing at the Product level (which will feed into System and Component levels); creation of robust technical requirements, awareness and comprehension of external factors, suitable benchmarking, and verification/validation methods.

The attribute area of Physical Characteristics (Product Physical), focusing on the interior volume space; capacity, capability, flexibility, and usage. Delivering a truly functional, usable, and comfortable space for occupants. Additional focus is covered on the idea of cognitive ergonomics, and therefore the human-machine interaction on a broader scope.

The role involves:

  • Coordination of a group of attribute owners spread within the organisation in relation to project deliveries and/or decoupled research and development
  • Assessment on the current scope of the attribute area and proposing growth plans
  • Managing the specific competencies and conducting training and education
  • Coordinating and pushing for necessary input for the attribute owners
  • Supporting and working closely with the User-Perspective engineers to develop workflows and content that allows technical requirements to be derived from customer values
  • Supporting Sales & Marketing with trend analysis
  • Supporting the creation of requirements and the management of them
  • Facilitate and support assessments of design iterations
  • Creating/chairing assessment clinics and workshops
  • Education of colleagues in requirement management and elicitation
  • Promotion of the NEVS value towards purposeful product/service design
  • Collaboration with all NEVS personnel, at different departments and locations

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • University education (bachelor) in Engineering and/or Science
  • Strong, yet not duration dependent, related experience in the Physical Characteristics field
  • High ability in verbal, written, and graphical communication
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Eligibility for work in Europe and China (i.e. no restrictions of travel)

Terms

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
