We are now looking for an ADS ECU & Sensor System Engineer

 

YOUR TEAM

Our mission is to provide electric-powered and fully autonomous vehicles with a connected user interface, a mobility solution for smart and sustainable cities. The self-driving vehicle Sango is the centerpiece of the system.

You will be part of a team within the Electrical & Electronics Hardware Tribe focusing on developing future electrical solutions and architecture for the vehicle. The Tribe is divided in five Chapters, covering the fields of Physical Electrical Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics, Electrical Energy Storage and Electrical & Electronics Mechanical Design.

You will be part of a creative and inspiring Electronics team focusing on delivering high quality electrical systems, components and technical solutions for the complete vehicle and taking on challenges to find new ways to work and improve.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining ECU’s and Sensor suite systems solutions for ADS-System, and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers.
  • Lead concept selection of ADS-ECU & Sensor System at vehicle architecture, system, and component level.
  • You will lead the selection the ADS-Parts that follows our architectural growth.
  • Monitor NEVS internal test planning and review test results.
  • Support the development and maintenance of validation and verification methodologies and procedures.
  • Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying your requirements in System and component specifications.
  • Support mechanical and electrical integration of complete system
  • Lead problem Root-causing and Resolution from an ADS-ECU & Sensor perspective
  • Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Successfully completed a degree in Mechatronics or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience with automotive radar-, ultrasonic-, cameras and Lidar sensors.
  • Knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain
  • Experience from of other electronic development in automotive area is desirable
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
  • Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
  • Flexibility in your way of working.
  • Analytic mindset and a good understanding of “the bigger picture”.
  • Curiosity and a positive attitude.
  • Appreciative of cultural diversity in your environment.
  • Experience in Agile work
