We are now looking for a Chapter Leader.

 

Description

We need to strengthen our leadership team in the Software Tribe with an additional Chapter Leader for Battery & Thermal controls engineering. Chapter Leader is a line role at NEVS with the task to develop the assigned competence area. The role includes securing needed processes, methods and plans to support NEVS long term strategies for Products and Services.

You will be part of the Software Tribe which in total contains five Chapters. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future. Previous experience from embedded software development within Battery & Thermal is appreciated.

Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. NEVS strongly believes in servant leadership and the expectations on a Chapter Leader are no less than to be a role model.

The role also involves:

  • Remove impediments or blockers for the developers.
  • Establish/maintain and follow a budget/forecast.
  • Build fruitful cooperation with other organizational entities (both within and outside NEVS).
  • Mentor/support/push the Chapter members in their development.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Servant Leadership as a north star.
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree.
  • Knowledge in Control Theory.
  • Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.

 

We prefer that you have knowledge within:

  • Embedded C programming and model-based development.
  • ISO 26262 or similar safety standards.
  • Knowledge in Thermal Management.
  • Knowledge in Battery Management.
