We are now looking for System Engineers with focus on Integrated Vehicle Motion Control!
Our passion and strong belief is that future traffic within big cities can be drastically reduced by providing services and vehicles that motivates people to share a ride, either with friends or with total strangers. To achieve this we understand that these vehicles will be electrified, connected, autonomous and built for this purpose. This further mean that these vehicles will not only be driven on electricity but also on software, and lots of it. NEVS strategy is to create munch of this software in-house! Do you also have this passion?
As a Vehicle Motion Controls System Engineer you will be part of the Vehicle Motion Controls Engineering & Artificial Intelligence chapter, which is one of five competence areas within the Software Tribe. Where the focus is to develop inhouse software solutions for integrated vehicle motion control and autonomous driving and furthermore to support this development with data analytics and strategies for data management.
You will join an agile organisation, where teamwork, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus we therefore value each team member's qualities and wish to continuously contribute to make the team successful.
We always try to ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!
We are now looking for experienced system engineers, preferably with a controls background, that can support to bring our future integrated vehicle motion control platform to life. Integrated Vehicle Control is where the vehicles motion, both longitudinal and lateral, is integrated and controlled by one application software. Your role will be, together with a team, to define and evaluate the functional requirements and the logical design using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for the complete motion control system. This includes the inhouse developed integrated vehicle control application as well as the drive-by-wire systems (steer-by wire, brake-by-wire and the e-motor). This system will be used in our future autonomous pods so a good understanding of AD is required.
