We are now looking for Embedded Software Engineers for development of our Safety Critical Software!

 

Description

We need to broaden our team with software engineers that has high focus on the achievement of functional safety and the implementation of the safety critical parts of our software. The work will mainly be focused on analysis, design and development of the safety critical software and safety mechanisms related to Vehicle Motion Control. It will include configuration of real-time operating system, micro-controller abstraction layer and software platform.

There will be great possibilities to influence the software architectural design to ensure that the complete embedded software meets the requirements.

Previous experience from embedded software development, development of safety critical software, real-time operating systems or Autosar is highly appreciated.

You will be part of the Chapter Embedded Software, which is one of four teams within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

The role involves:

  • Design and development of the safety critical software related to vehicle motion control
  • Evaluation of Software Architecture Design solutions
  • Configuration of SW platforms, MCAL and RTOS
  • Requirement identification and analysis Safety analysis activities
  • Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree
  • Expertise in embedded C programming
  • Good knowledge in ISO 26262 or similar safety standards
  • Experience from embedded software development
  • Good understanding of Real-Time Operating Systems
  • Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
