We are now looking for a Deputy Chapter Leader!



We need to strengthen our leadership within the SW/Control Systems Test & Simulation Chapter with a Deputy Chapter Leader for SW/Control Systems Test. The Deputy Chapter Leader role is part of the line organization at NEVS with the task to develop the assigned competence area. The role includes securing needed processes, methods and plans to support NEVS long term strategies for Products and Services.

You will be part of the Software Tribe, which in total contains five Chapters. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future. Previous experience from work with test coordination, SW test strategies, development of test environments and testing of embedded software is an advantage.

Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. NEVS strongly believes in servant leadership and the expectations on a Deputy Chapter Leader are no less than to be a role model.

The role also involves:

  • Build up the competence area for SW/Control Systems Test concerning resources and capabilities
  • Remove impediments or blockers for the test engineers
  • Build fruitful cooperation with other organizational entities (both within and outside NEVS)
  • Mentor/support/push the Chapter members in their development as engineers


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Servant Leadership as a north star
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree
  • Knowledge in SW & Control Systems test methods, processes, strategies, environments, metrics and performance
  • Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
