About the position

You will be part of the Exterior team which focus is to develop state of the art aesthetical and functional systems for our next generation self-driving vehicles included in the PONS Autonomous Mobility Ecosystem – A smart and proactive fleet offering excellent, on-demand, sustainable mobility services to citizens of the smart cities of the future.

Who are you?

In addition to being a great team player, you have successfully completed at least a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical engineering. We also believe that you have several years of experience in automotive cleaning´ systems.

  • At least 8 years’ experience in a senior automotive cleaning systems position.
  • Experience in Teamcenter
  • Skills in coaching, leading and inspiring others
  • Good communication skill in English (both verbally and written)
  • Analytical problem-solving ability
  • Self-driven

 

You will among other things:

  • Drive the development of all Sensor cleaning systems (including cameras, LIDARs and ultrasonic sensors) from concept phase to industrialization and implementation in production by using advance knowledge of automotive cleaning functions, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Benchmark latest automotive cleaning system available in the market
  • Develop different cleaning system concepts and go through concept selection process
  • Set the requirements for the cleaning system to assure that we meet customer expectations
  • Consider limitations imposed by regulations, quality, safety, weight and cost
  • Be the main contact responsible toward the supplier
  • Work together with manufacturing to ensure that each component/system fulfils assembly requirements
  • Support tests to prove out the design and that the function of the cleaning systems is fulfilled according to customer expectations
