YOUR TEAM

The Physical E/E Architecture Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the E/E Hardware Engineering Tribe. The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for E/E Hardware Competence & Technology within E/E Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage. You will be part of a creative and inspiring team who like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS General Requirements for EMC, and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers.
  • Produce requirements for the EMC area. This includes the requirements for automotive Ethernet physical layer, where NEVS needs more detailed standards than the general legislations within the field.
  • Guide and train Engineers across our organization in understanding and applying EMC requirements in system and component specifications.
  • Benchmark and follow the development of future trends, as well as participate in standardization workgroups and networks within the field of EMC.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of EMC related validation and verification methodologies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for setting up the attribute assessment planning, and follow-up and report progress.
  • Monitor NEVS internal test planning and review test results.
  • Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, by using a deep level of knowledge in system and component level.
  • Responsible of feedback test result to suppliers
  • Responsible to carry out Tech reviews of an EMC perspective.
  • Lead problem Root-causing and Resolution from an EMC perspective
  • Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Successfully completed Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Physics
  • Knowledgeable within the application knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain
  • Passionate interest and engineering experience from working in the EMC field (design & testing), minimum 7 years
  • Experience from hands on Electronics design (PCB, Electronics circuit design, component design & selection) is desirable
  • Accustomed to write and speak in English
  • Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
  • Enjoy being a mentor to others
  • Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
