We are now looking for a CAE Engineer within Vehicle Dynamics!

In this position you will be part of Chapter Hardware CAE Simulations & CAx Methods, which is one of five competence teams within Tribe Hardware. As a Chapter, we are mutual accountable in developing coming NEVS products, our methods, our way of working and ourselves. We are using our collective intelligence in order to achieve those goals.

You will be working in an agile organization, using agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. You will work in small, empowered self-organizing teams where you and your colleagues are mutual accountable for your team’s deliverables.

Your tasks will be to create, develop and correlate CAE models in the vehicle dynamics area like suspension geometry, tuning parts and sensitivity studies for current vehicle programs and of future platforms.

    This role also involves:

  • to challenge, develop and document CAE methods and processes
  • being part of early concept studies
  • being responsible for CAE driven design with respect of various load cases and future load case scenarios
  • taking an active part in target setting of attributes and correlation of models
  • being part of the continuous product and performance development of NEVS products
  • working and communicate cross-functional within the company

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher university degree
  • fundamental understanding of complete suspension and steering systems on complete vehicle
  • understanding of the function of components like springs, dampers, elastomer mounts and tires
  • experience in building/preparing CAE models and correlating them based on physical measurements (e.g. durability and strength loads, F-Tire/Magic Formula, K&C)
  • proficiency in ADAMS/Car or similar software, Matlab, Simulink, Python
  • ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
