We are now looking for a Application Manager CAD/PDM!

 

Description

As a Application Manager CAD/PDM you will be part of an innovative IT department providing services to our organization where you will act as an expert within CAD/PDM systems.

The organization is responsible for IT Development and Support to Product Development and consist of 10 Application Managers working very tight with the Engineering community supporting them in developing, maintaining and supporting IT systems and applications.

You will develop our future CAD/PDM applications as well as maintain the present solutions based on the needs of the organization. Within the IT-infrastructure team, you will work towards identifying opportunities and implementing solution to continually improve the functionality, services and processes.

You will do hands-on work, but will also have a planning and strategic role as well. You will also work together with our IT-team in China to enable cooperation and collaboration between our sites.

You will join an agile organization, where teamwork, empowered self-organizing teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!

The role involves:

  • Managing Applications throughout their lifecycle
  • Continuous improvements
  • Development
  • Testing
  • Identify skills required to support the applications.
  • Keep the Budget limitations

Main application areas are:

  • Siemens PLM Portfolio (Teamcenter and NX)
  • Autodesk Portfolio (Alias and Maya)

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant experience within the work area, minimum 3 years
  • BSc in IT or Engineering
  • Knowledge of tools: NX, Teamcenter, XML, Databases (SQL)
  • Awareness of Standards: ISO 26262 (functional safety), CM II,
  • Cutting-edge expertise in a specific field: PLM development
  • Language skills: Swedish and English

Other desirable skills:

  • Knowledge in IT Infrastructure
  • Knowledge in Vehicle Engineering

  • Have both functional and technical expertise within the field
  • Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have the ability to plan, prioritize and drive for results
  • Be able to work in an Agile organization

Terms

 NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
