Areas we cover are Suspension, Steering, Brakes, Powertrain, HVAC and Thermal Management. Our task is to provide NEVS present and future need for Hardware, Competence & Technology.

We work in a lean, agile organization where people with certain competences are either members of squads (smaller teams) with mutual responsibility, and/or act in a supporting role to these squads. To be successful you need to have an open mind, be solution oriented, a team player and able to adapt to change.

As an Attribute Engineer, you will be a key player in developing future systems and components, focusing on the behavior of suspension, steering, brakes and powertrain. You are expected to contribute in different projects with architectural work, concept selection on system level and validation and verification of systems and components. You are given the opportunity to make a difference in the industry with setting performance levels and balance requirements to optimize the end users experience of our vehicles.

It’s important for us that you value a great atmosphere while working together to achieve something extra ordinary.

The role involves:

  • Balancing attributes to reach an optimized product.
  • Aid in setting requirements on system and component level.
  • Contribute in the development of methods for objective evaluation.
  • Close collaboration with NVH, CAE, Suspension, Brakes, Steering, Powertrain and Body.
  • Identify opportunities and push for implementation to optimize system or sub-system performance in our vehicles.
  • Educate people outside of your own chapter, to reach a higher level of understanding.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fundamental understanding of attributes and its influence on developing a vehicle.
  • Understanding of chassis parameters and its influence on vehicle dynamics.
  • Knowledge of legal and market requirements.
  • Engineering experience working together with suspension, steering, brakes, body and NVH.
  • Basic knowledge of working towards/with CAE-driven design and Adams Car.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

  • Belief in NEVS vision and future products.
  • An inner drive of putting the pieces in the puzzle together.
  • Analytic mindset and a good understanding of “the bigger picture”.
  • Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
  • Flexibility in your way of working.
  • Eager to share your knowledge.
  • Appreciative of cultural diversity in your environment.

Great consideration will be given to your personal attitude for the position!

We very much encourage female applicants!
