We are now looking for a System Engineer Charging

YOUR TEAM

Our mission is to provide electric-powered and fully autonomous vehicles with a connected user interface; a mobility solution for smart and sustainable cities. The self-driving vehicle Sango is the centerpiece of the system.

You will be part of a team within the Electrical & Electronics Hardware Tribe focusing on developing future electrical energy storage systems and energy storage solutions for the vehicle. The Tribe is divided in five Chapters, covering the fields of Physical Electrical Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics, Electrical Energy Storage and Electrical & Electronics Mechanical Design. 

You will be part of a creative and inspiring Energy storage team focusing on delivering high quality system solutions with main focus in Charging Systems of vehicle and infrastructure. regards to available and coming technologies for the complete energy storage system and taking on challenges to find new ways to work and improve.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define and maintain the Charging strategy (e.g., DC-, AC- and wireless charging) for vehicle and part of infrastructure
• Develop, integrate and validate Charging system from concept phase to industrialization and implementation in production
• Define & follow up requirements against each subsystem and complete vehicle system
• Be part of mechanical integration work to secure interfaces and packaging
• Be part of BOM creation for complete Energy team
• Lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development phase
• Support in material development and handling for prototype builds
• Be part of prototype builds
• Be part of validation and verification against requirements
• Support functional safety engineers in the analysis of the HARA and breakdown of safety goals to safety concept and technical safety requirement.

 WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in Master´s degree within Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Several years Engineering experience from working in the automotive Electrical Energy Storage area
• Experience within Charging system design and communication protocols within automotive domain
• Knowledgeable within Agile Way of Working
• Passionate interest in new technologies and concepts
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Accustomed to write and speak in English
• Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
• Can legally drive vehicle in Sweden
