We are now looking for Functional Safety Engineers

YOUR TEAM

As part of the Chapter Software Architecture, you will work in a team with architects and systems engineers that together define how the vehicle functionality shall be designed to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work as Functional Safety specialist in a team who are responsible for the system design. Depending on your background and interest, you will focus on one or several functional areas as e.g., Vehicle Motion, High Voltage Energy, AD/ADAS.

You will be part of a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve. As we design and develop a lot of the software in-house, you will work closely together with the software design and implementation teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Being the Functional Safety specialist in the cross-functional team
• Contributing to development of functional safety products in alignment with ISO26262 parts 3 and 4
• Supporting implementation teams with functional safety products in parts 5 and 6
• Actively participating in the system design work for selected functional area(s)
• Performing design analysis such as FMEA, FTA etc.
• Support and contribute to the overall vehicle safety
• Contributing to continuous improvement of ways-of-working 

 WHO YOU ARE

• Passionate about Functional Safety in accordance with ISO26262
• Experience from working with functional safety at an OEM
• Has a deep understanding of ISO 26262 parts 3 and 4
• Knowledgeable in ISO 26262 parts 5 and 6
• Knowledgeable in SOTIF is a plus
• Experience of system development with functional safety considerations
• Experience from software intense systems
• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Accustomed to write and speak in English
• Inspiring, solution-oriented, and open minded
• Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
